How do I login?

Go to http://yourdomain.com/Qstore/Qmenu.cgi.  If this link doesn't load, your DNS may not be changed or active yet.  In the meantime, you can still use this site but you need to make a change on your computer.  See Step 2 on this page.  Note you need to make sure you are using the correct IP address, which is found in your Control Panel, by clicking on your domain name.  

I have Qstore.  Can I upgrade to ShoppingQ?

How do I modify the "look and feel" of my store?

Can I transfer my ShoppingQ store from another host?

Yes, you can backup the store files from your store on the other host, and then restore the store files.  Licenses however, cannot be transferred, and you would still be required to pay the one-time license fee to NetFronts.

Where are the Help files?

Extensive Help files are located within each ShoppingQ store using the "Help" link at the top of each page.   If you don't have a store and would like to see what the help files look like, please see this page.

Is ShoppingQ offered on Windows or Linux?

ShoppingQ is offered on Linux only.  Unlike other shopping cart systems, ShoppingQ is written in C++ and compiled into machine language.  This allows ShoppingQ to run at the machine language level which maximizes speed and minimizes server overhead. Since it's compiled, ShoppingQ does not have be read in and parsed each time it is run on your web site (like other shopping carts written in Perl, PHP, or ASP).

How long has NetFronts offered ShoppingQ?

NetFronts has offered ShoppingQ and previously Qstore, both software offered by Bitwise Software, to hundreds of clients, for nearly 4 years.

Do I have to know HTML to use ShoppingQ?

Almost all features of ShoppingQ can be done by any skill level of user and require no special computer knowledge.  If you wish to create a custom home page area, you may use HTML to enhance text and layout.  

What fields are looked at when a customer searches my ShoppingQ store?

The store's search feature checks each product's title, SKU number, short description, long description, and meta tags for a match.

How to avoid seeing the /Qstore/Qstore.cgi on my home page:

Create home page called index.php.  Insert this code.  Replace your-domain.com with your actual domain.
