Some web site owners may wish to use an outside email server for their incoming email. An outside mail server would be one that is operated by another company or by the individual themselves. In order to do this the domain name's "Mail Exchange" record must be changed to direct all incoming mail to this new outside mail server. Below are instructions for doing this. Please be sure to follow these instructions closely.
Select the situation that applies to you if you wish to use an outside email server to receive your incoming email:
Situation 1: You have NOT yet started to use the email service that comes with your hosting account but wish to begin to use an outside email server.
Situation 2: You are currently using the email service that comes with your web hosting account and but wish to begin to use an outside email server.
